CLASS REFLECTION

While taking HCM 388, I've obtained knowledge about the legal aspects that goes into the health care industry. This course has challenged me in many ways. Although it was challenging, my researching skills have become sharper and I've learned to pay attention to detail. I enjoyed how the class was assigned to work with groups. Working in groups helped to sharpen my leadership skills while challenging me to become more verball. One of my biggest fears is public speaking. This course allowed me to go outside of my confort zone and present in front of the class. By doing so It made me a much more confident speaker and team player.

The first quiz was an introductory on what to expect for the quizzes that would follow. The second quiz was much tougher than I anticipated, but i did better. The third quiz was rather challenging although it was open book, i managed to squeeze a solid grade.

This has been by far the best class that I've ever taken in my collegiate career. I feel as though i walked out as a better leader as well as a more knowlegeable person in the legal system as well as the overall health care system. I believe that this class helped me to be more prepared for the work field by polishing my leadership skills, teaching me how to work under challenging conditions and building my confidence in order for me to become a better public speaker. If it were up to me i wouldnt change a single thing about this course.
